Helen suffered a serious back injury that ended her nursing career; however she is now grateful for the back injury as it has taken her on a path that ten years ago she could not have imagined. It was to be her introduction to Energy Based Medicine and Therapies. This journey has not been without conflict and challenges. She has been confronted with many challenges including her traditional beliefs and rationale. The journey has been one of self discovery, trust, empowerment and commitment to further education and above all has awakened her passion to live her life through compassion and to help others enrich their lives. Helen’s goal is to share her knowledge with others, to offer opportunities for self empowerment, self responsibility and to create a sense of well being, vitality and an enriched life. Helen says “I believe that optimal health and a life of fulfillment can be achieved through any of the above modalities, either used separately or with conjunction with each other. The important factor is choice; choosing to take responsibility for your own health and life circumstances is the first step to self empowerment, self empowerment brings about inner peace, harmony, strength, centeredness and a life of fulfillment.”
